"Three Chords and the Truth" GTRC Benefit Reminder--THIS THURSDAY

Don't forget the concert on Thursday to benefit the Greensboro Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Here are the details:

Tickets ($25 for adults and $7 for students--new, reduced price!) are on sale now at our office, the Green Bean, Kut Kreations, and BB’s New & Used CDs/DVDs for “Three Chords and the Truth: An Evening of Grassroots Music to Benefit the Greensboro Truth and Reconciliation Commission.”

WHAT: The pre-Labor Day concert will feature folk singer and activist Si Kahn, as well as local community storytellers Laurelyn Dossett of Polecat Creek, Riley Baugus, Scott Pryor and poet Amaris Howard of the Collective.

WHEN: Thursday, September 1, 7pm

WHERE: New Garden Friends Meeting, 801 New Garden Road, Greensboro.

SPONSORSHIPS: Donors who give more than $100/individual and $150/couple will be considered "Sponsors" and will be named (if desired) in our programs. Sponsors will be invited to a reception prior to the Sept. 1 concert where they can meet artists, Commissioners and staff and will also receive a free signed copy of a Si Kahn CD. Please contact the Commission as soon as possible if you are interested in being a sponsor.
